CY2021 has been updated with OpenEXR being reverted from 3.0.x back to 2.4.x due to this major release dropping later than expected. Steps are being taken to ensure this type of mid-year change does not happen again in future years.

Change confirmed, CY2020 updated to OpenEXR 2.4.x

Proposal for a late change to CY2020, changing OpenEXR to 2.4.x to accommodate the latest release which has security fixes and a much improved build system. Change will be effective November 1st if no objections received. groups.google.com/forum/#!topic/

CY2020 has moved to Final with no further changes. All software vendors should target versions specified by CY2020 in major product releases next year, and this includes supporting Python 3.
