I did look that up before, but couldn't find anything about the proper origin...it might not have been a film-related thing at first.
Does it count as a Texas switch if the switch is to or from a digi double?
In the article I mention a few of those digi-double 'switches', but of course the real Texas Switches are in-camera. I kinda like the Aquaman one because it absolutely is with two doubles but then VFX was part of the environment work and other fx/clean-up to make the shot happen
