    Miami Dade College North gave 4,813 first-dose Pfizer shots today. We didn't know they had so much supply on hand. If you're due for 2nd shot, go mid-day. We're being asked to remind folks not to go early for booster shot. Tomorrow MDC North switches to 1-shot Johnson & Johnson.

    If you need your booster (2nd Pfizer) shot, you can also go to these temp spots that likely have little/no wait (these are NOT for 1st doses): Allen Park Community Center, 1770 NE 162nd St., North Miami Beach & Miami Springs Community Center at 1401 Westward Dr. through April 7!

    They can also go to the other FEMA pop-ups right? (I got my second dose at a pop-up instead of MDC and there was absolutely NO WAIT.) North MIA beach and Miami Springs thru April 7th.

    Today ONLY at Miami Dade College North, parents, guardians may bring 16 & 17 yr olds to get Pfizer vaccine. Tuesday no longer, will only have J&J for 18+. Screening & consent forms available on site. Parents must bring legal guardian proof. Hard Rock with appt has Pfizer for 16+.

    Open now! If it crashes, I was able to try again at 1 a.m. Keep refreshing. The site will ask for your insurance card info because CVS gets reimbursed for administering the shots. But should not charge you anything. If you don’t have insurance select “none.”

    No info tonight on J&J sites for Monday (they will offer J&J at Miami Dade College North Campus as of Tuesday). We're asked to remind people - if you're getting 2nd/booster Pfizer shot Mon. at MDC, go later in day, despite time on your CDC card. Lots of ppl expected for 1st dose.

    The temporary COVID-19 vaccination site at Babcock Park will reopen on Monday, April 5, 2021. Gates open at 6:30 AM. Vaccinations will start at 9:00 AM. Individuals must meet requirements stated in the flyer. Vaccines will be administered at a first-come, first-served basis.

    tons of appointments, thank you !! Walgreens seems to have Moderna, 2nd shot is presently 28 days later. CVS does write Pfizer and booster available 21 days later. just saving our lives, so grateful for my appointment next week, walking distance from my apt!

    Lots of opportunities all across the board today! 🎉 Mass pop-up sites offering J&J throughout the state, the usual FEMA & state sites are open, Walgreens has appointments in almost every city offered, CVS still has appointments in some key cities, etc. 💉 Any questions?

    This Monday, April 5, when the age drops to 18, will be the last day for a first dose of the Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine at Miami Dade College North Campus. Tuesday the site switches to Johnson & Johnson. That site is not vaccinating 16 year olds for now.

    If you don't make it to a J&J pop up site over the weekend, don't worry. Starting on Tuesday, April 6, the four federally-supported COVID-19 vaccine sites in Jacksonville, Tampa, Orlando & Miami (Miami Dade College North Campus) will offer J&J vaccine --3,000 doses per day.
