I am so disgusted by the Republican Party today. Angry and sad, also—but mostly disgusted. They have given up on American democracy; those remaining in the party or still in office who pretend otherwise are just as guilty of their colleagues' sedition. All of them are complicit.

A lot of hands are going to wave about reforming the GOP. It's not possible. The Republican Party is beyond reform and redemption. For the future of this democracy, high-profile Republicans need to set the example by leaving and renouncing the party.
