How fast is transferring games from the external drive to the SSD?

I use an external Seagate HDD (I believe 5200RPM) and 100Gb takes 10-15 minutes from my experience. Usually the former.

Not sure if you're serious here, but the games designed for the PS5 are designed for a SSD the speed of the internal drive on the PS5 that comes with a read speed of 5.5GB/s (without compression), the max speed off an external drive is 1.25GB/s (USB port limited).

Storing games you are not currently playing. You can reinstall from external much faster than redownload or installing from disc. Myself when I'm done with a game I just delete it so I probably won't use this feature
