I expect Sony to price at $450 digital $500 disc. I’m wondering if they thought of going over $500 all along but couldn’t risk being higher priced, so they entered this game of chicken.

It would just seem they’d take a massive loss at $449. But maybe they can justify it knowing people can’t buy used games.

I’m figuring Sony would offer the DE of the PS5 for $399 and disc drive version for $499. Maybe even $449 for the DE. Sony has shown they are willing to eat a loss and make up for it in software sales.
