Not really. If you look at most media articles and how they handle this issue, you see a consistent pattern of believing the police and not believing anybody else, including the accused, including their lawyers.

These men and women dehumanized themselves by their crimes, often victims of a secular culture that took God out of schools and the public arena. Those of us who risk our lives daily to enter prisons to work with these men and women are working to try to rehumanize them.

That is a ridiculous take. You cannot dehumanize yourself, that is something that is done to you. Look at the terms the media uses on this issue. Look at the words you just used.
