Venk there are FB groups pointing out that masks don't work because there are no studies

I just posted a tweet about this and when you have something they want you to read it doesn't mean or say what they think it said, This is a failure of science education.

What happens repeatedly is that people disagree about what is "obviously nonsense". Take the work of Hannes Alfven, eg, which has been extended into the Electric Universe + Plasma Cosmology worldviews. These extensions are treated by academics as o.n., but many beg to differ.
-
It's a curious situation to consider as one learns about research into high-intensity energy events. Astrophysicists + cosmologists create simulations, but in the EU+PC worlds, they rely more heavily upon experimentation since plasmas are thought to "scale" over many magnitudes.

But scientists (not science) must help to debunk wrong ideas to avoid false beliefs spread across the population. It is a hard and long (Brandolini's law) but mandatory work to increase knowledge and acceptance

Yes, it’s waiting until we’re under water and on fire simultaneously from global warming and then wondering why we keep dying because denialists keep getting elected.
