I typically donโt care about leaks but the amount of them that occur these days is very troubling, especially since itโs apparently so easy to do.
I worry how this is going to effect security in video games

This isnโt specific to any one publication. Itโs just following the business and spotting trends. Itโs why youโve seen layoffs outside of games media at news publications. Investors are seeing the incoming recession and backing off

The layoffs this week and last all come down to investors. Games spending was up over the past two years because of the pandemic and is now in a slump. Execs who were investing in gaming just last year are now panicking

Iโve gotten messages from people looking to break into this industry and you just canโt tell them to go for it. You just canโt. Layoffs are rampant and the work is so low paying.
