    3/4 Huge thanks to & Scotland 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 for hosting. For looking after us (esp those in police, transport & hospitality) & putting up with the disruptions. I’m not surprised that delegates were always taking about how friendly everyone is

    2/4 Hosting in person during a global pandemic, with over 120 world leaders, was a huge effort. But the ability to meet face to face, for spontaneous unlikely groupings has undoubtedly helped build stronger linkages & new partnerships for ongoing climate action.

    1/4 I walked past this coffee shop in Glasgow every day for 2 weeks. As the negotiators try to conclude, I remember all the real-world commitments that were made at : on emissions, climate impacts, finance & nature. Not enough & implementation matters, but strong progress.
