    The -based "fake milk" section is now even bigger than the real dairy. Too bad it's all sugars, plant oils, soy, carbs. The new "junk food?"

    It's nothing to do with money or fame. Above all else, J-Lo, clearly isn't a carboholic! Carbs, liquid, boxed, bagged, processed, multicolored, sugar loaded/coated whatever, turns into stored energy (FAT) wether you're rich, poor, famous or obscure.

    80% diabetics die of heart disease. About 25% of heart attack victims are under age 65. Elevated blood sugar over time compounds damage in the arteries. It's cereal, sugar, chips, refined grains in excess + rancid veg oil inflaming arteries - not butter & eggs!

  7. Venison is my new superfood. This is only the second time I've cooked it this year. Very easy to make. Bacon, garlic, sea salt, rosemary, wild bay leaves from the forest, a bit of red wine. Expensive, very nutrient dense. Primal.

  9. I guess I am a born-again . I grew up on venison. My Dad was a hunter. Takes me back. Great recipe here on Hank Shaw's "Hunter, Angler, Gardener, Cook" -- though I'd dump the dumplings!

    When you eat ultra-processed food, you're doing battle with an army of high IQ engineers and scientists who are paid very well to make sure the food you eat is addictive. That's a losing battle. Solution: don't fight on their terms.

  12. 2/11/20 is my -- one year eating and reintroducing meat to my diet. I am 57. I can't work out at all because of my back injury and arthritis. Despit that, this diet keeps me trim. Never going back to diet!

    Unfortunate study since it conflicts with historic evidence that osteoporosis begins when humans started eating high carbohydrate, grain-based diets. Human height fell thereafter. Bone-building nutrients are not found in high carbohydrate foods. Seems rather obvious.

    Vegetarian and diet advocates put their bones at greater risk of fracture because of ⬇️Bone Mineral Density . Risks greater with vegan. Intermittent fasting not seen to be a risk factor.
