The fellas looking excited for some tasty treats. Goats are hilarious; so much entertainment from these two.

Quick phone pic from the dogwalk yesterday. We still have barely any snow, which is sad, but at least the temperature was closer to normal; -20. It makes for some wonderful frost on the trees; I might take out the macro lens later.

This is from two summers ago; I just love using the macro lens. Since I don't appear to have an enjoyable winter this year, I went back to look at some of my flower photos.

I love the colours in this photo. This was five or so years ago, looking across the river that flows through town. I was blown away by the colours; still am, hahaha! has always been one of my favourite times of day. It happens around 3pm, these days.

As per Article 31 of the Geneva Convention, states can't impose penalties on refugees for crossing the illegally if they present themselves without undue delay. The Nov 9 proclamation is about refugees, not immigrants. I do hope you understand the difference between the two, sir.

This week in 2013, I was working in one of the communities, & took this photo as the sun set; the temperature was -35°C or so, normal for here. This week, in the same community, it is -2°C with freezing rain. This is not normal. Pretty picture, though. At least in my eyes!

Pooped boys after a long weekend's work. Everyone got water, all dogs were walked, and a new heated trough was installed for the goats.

Note how this man jumped immediately to ad hominem logical fallacies. Rather than actually make any points, or refute his opponent's arguments, he leapt directly to attacking said opponent's character or person. It is truly sad to see adults seemingly incapable of adult debate.

I've never felt that my vote matters, but I vote anyway. I'm not a fan of the current system, I think it's inefficient, but I still vote. I'm not American, but I still wish the the best. For everyone who can't; vote! For everyone who fought for the right; vote! Just !

An interesting article. I do my best to follow these guidelines, but I'm only human, and I slip up. Sometimes my opponents are just too funny. Still, I try to keep it in mind, and it's always good if I make mistakes; I can learn from them, and get better!

Your claim that all go to the GTA is factually incorrect. Refugees live in every province and territory. Just one disproves your generalization. Can you prove refugees are responsible for this alleged rise, knowing that it's predicated on a falsehood?

I'm glad to hear you've helped people! I, too, have spent years helping people in need. Luckily, I live in a country where we all contribute, making life better for everyone. It's disappointing that you seem to feel like arguing in favour of helping people is somehow a bad thing.

Hahaha! Do you truly believe that paying taxes, volunteering, donating, etc do not directly impact my life? That's hilarious! Please, explain this to me. I can't wait to hear you try. I'm sorry, I shouldn't laugh; I feel sorry for you, as this appears to be difficult for you

"Your [sic] a troll", accused the person spamming an adult debate with memes, seemingly oblivious to the hypocrisy. Do you value your self-worth by the number of followers you have? Is this why you felt this would be an effective insult? If so, I truly pity you.

Hahaha! You try to take part in an argument by using memes, random non-arguments, and attempted cleverness about "brush[ing my] tooth", & you think I'm the one engaging in nonsense? What a fascinating example of lack of self-awareness. The human brain is truly interesting.

Why? What makes them more important than others? The refugees are homeless; it's in the very definition of the word. We can help both our neighbours, and refugees; they aren't mutually exclusive. We should be helping those who need it most, don't you agree?

Evidence? Proof? Do you actually believe places like Europe are what you stated? Really? How do you call European culture "backwards and oppressive"? You understand it's the basis of your own, I hope? We're getting much better, this past century or so.

Do you really believe you're superior to others, simply because you had the luck to be born within a particular set of imaginary lines drawn on a map? How truly sad. I'm not your "son"; basic research would show I'm female. Do you truly believe that helping others is a bad thing?

No, I already know that one. I'm thinking food, music, history, language, art... it would be great! Are you truly insinuating all refugees will murder people? Even the children? Quite a claim, sir; where's your evidence?

Our taxes do; every day. Far more taxes are spent on Canadians than anyone else. Can you prove all refugees and immigrants are "dependent" on "handouts"? Do you disagree with us helping other humans? Why? Is money more important than people? I'm happy to work and help others.
