Unless you stop believing eternal torture could possibly be moral, you will never know what love is.

I could use the spiritual capacity to not wish something like it on those who so desperately wish to confine me to it for whom I decide to cuddle with. Still, eternal punishment is crazy. Like, nothing can be that guilty. The punisher is themselves punished. Torture is...yucky.

Not crazy. Put yourself in God's Place. You can make everyone, or only those who will believe in You. If you force those who don't to heaven, that's unjust to their choice. If you terminate their soul if they don't believe, you rob them of choice. So you GIVE them their choice.

This thinking takes away god's omnipotence by saying he's powerless to keep everyone out of hell. An all powerful god could just say "no hell". If he still craved punishing us, he could do hell light where no one can find their left shoe for all eternity, but torture? That's sick

Is it free will if a man says to a woman, “You are free to accept or reject a date with me, but if you say no, I’ll set you on fire”? That’s what you’re making God sound like. That’s not love, just psychopathy.

This might just be me thinking about the Incel killer in canada, but the god these people invented for themselves sounds more and more like an alt-right edgelord than anything else.
