    Almost 2 years ago 3 year old Jordyn Dumont was found dead in the woods near her Gaston County home. Today jury selection began in her trial, her mother's boyfriend, Joseph William McCullen is charged with first degree murder.

    Corporal Bill Wood with was killed yesterday riding his bike on Taylorsville Hwy. Sheriff says Wood was a man who younger deputies looked up to and is a great loss. Arrangements haven’t been announced.
