This doesn't benefit
@nodejs unfortunately, since it doesn't take advantage of StreamedSource. On second thought that makes sense. Node loads source files from disk, where latency is a bigger issue than throughput. What node should do though is bundling source with code cache. - 3 more replies

Thanks for sharing! Any numbers on the overall reduction of main thread time, i.e., what is the proportion of main thread compile time vs main thread other time?

The numbers in the results section show the overall reduction in main thread compilation time (excluding parsing). Previously all V8 compilation happened on the main thread, so the reductions shown here are relative to overall compilation time.
