@getify In javascript, is accessing an array element at given index constant time operation as in C? Specifically in V8 engine. I believe the answer is no as they are key-value objects. want to know your opinion. I don't think YDKJS has mention about this anywhere #javascript
It depends. Usually, it’s indeed a constant-time operation. But if the array is in dictionary mode (e.g. when it’s not dense enough, or when it’s too big) it’s similar to doing an object lookup in @v8js.
