I see WASM is not supported yet, is it on the roadmap?

-
It is (many more details at http://goo.gl/kRnhVe ), but currently unclear whether this will happen. Interpreted wasm may be too slow to be usable.

How is this different from --no-opt?
-
We put quite some work into not allocating any builtins onto the heap anymore. With that work, --jitless is not much different than --no-opt aside from no wasm and interpreted regexp.

Really cool. I immediately wondered whether predicting common byte-code sequences and creating a specialized hot-paths for them would be useful for JIT-less. I would guess some VM must be using that approach already.

V8 v7.4 supports a JIT-less or “interpreter-only” mode, where JavaScript executes without allocating executable memory at runtime.
