Nitpick: please make your diagrams fully opaque; this one is black lines on transparent, which is very difficult to read when expanded on Twitter (which gives it a dark background).

Is it one AOT compiled buildin for all CPU(on same arch), or dynamic optimization in place for those has faster instructions but not in the older one?? Or v8 is not even try to use AVX2

The builtin code produced for one architecture is static and entirely AOT compiled. Once embedded in .text, it is completely immutable.
