After tonight, I never want to hear another Democratic voter complain about not feeling "energized" or "heard" or "enthused" or "excited." Vote for your primary choice, and then be ice-cold in your determination to show up at the polls and vote for the nominee, whoever it is.

Collaboration has been THE key for me since the beginning of my career in UX in 1991. It’s the key to multidisciplinary work. If you’re not collaborating, you’re missing one of the great joys of life. I’m glad Steven knows this, too. It’s the way to achieve great outcomes.—Pabini

As another of the original contributors, I’ll take the probably-bold old-codger stance that: I stand by the principles I outlined there. If I have changed anything in my discussion of methodologies it is that I have to say the word “collaborate” a lot more.

And I say this a lot, and get all gripey about it because I’ve been doing it for the better part of 20 years. And the industry has been arguably doing it for more like 90. I think the evidence based part comes from Human Factors Engineering. That pre-dates computers. We’re old.

And as I mentioned above, client relations are derived from graphic design department/agency work. Merge the two, and we’re fine. Perfectly good processes that can mesh with any methodology you want.

And I’ve worked in like all of them. Lean Agile Spiral SAFe XP Spiral, things you’d call Waterfall. Name another and likely I did it. The one that doesn’t work is when someone decides an engineering methodology is how the business works, so UX doesn’t have a role.

Not just because I want to get paid and appreciated, but because business-feature-list, engineering-solution products are assembled, not designed. You have end users? You need to design for them, head to toe. And so I still stand by one-sprint-ahead being largely terrible.

Sí, la mayoría ahora. El problema va en que la población con problemas de visión tolera menos el dark, así que de ponerse, debería dársele al usuario la opción light, y si solamente va a tener una versión, que sea la light, por llegar a la mayor población, si no recuerdo mal...
