Good morning, blossom fans. Are you looking forward to meeting me this March? I'm working really hard to reach my full potential. Here's a recent #selfie for now. I hope to make my grand appearance in the next week or so!
To be a blossom enthusiast, you must visit me once a year, without touching me, bask in the glory of my petals. This is the Way. 🌸🌸🌸#UWcherryblossoms 1/2
I’m flattered that so many people came to visit me! But uh … I think I caused some traffic jams. Oops! 😆 If you plan on stopping by to say hi, I recommend taking the light rail 🚈 or park at either the Central Parking Garage or Padelford Parking Garage! 🚗 See you all soon! 🌸
Happy #FirstDayOfSpring! My friends and neighbors (the plum trees) have arrived just in time for the #SpringEquinox. I, of course, will be fashionably late.
Flower power for days. While I miss you all, I’m happy that I can give you a slice of sunshine and pink happiness virtually!

Alas, 3 weeks is far too short of a time to see such excellent and admirable people. I don't know half of you half as well as I should like, and I like less than half of you half as well as you deserve. 😉 1/2
What’s your favorite color, blossom fans? Mine is pink, along with purple and gold, of course.
Please don't come see me in person this year. Check out my live stream here so you can safely enjoy my petals from the comfort of your own home: https://washington.edu/video/campus-webcams/…🌸
We both know that you can't come see me this year. But why not take me with you to class!?
Add a splash of pink to your Zoom background with a photo or video of yours truly!

*Yawn*... is it that time again? Guessing not, based on my recent closeups...
I'm asking for folks to please avoid coming to see me in person this year and stay safe — we all know how I can draw a crowd! I'll be sure to share plenty of fabulous selfies, of course. 😉
Flower power for days. 🌸
Please don't come to campus to see me this year. Instead, enjoy me from the comfort and safety of your own home: https://washington.edu/video/campus-webcams/…
"The snow won't slow us down!" —@uwcherryblossom trees
The buds are starting to show up and the @UW arborist expects peak bloom to happen around the third week of March (the week before Spring Break).

The @uwcherryblossom trees in the Quad are nearly 90 years old and are very fragile. We would hope this goes without saying, but please do not shake the branches, break branches off, or climb the trees for any reason.

Well I actually have work to do during the day. Meetings and reports and whatnot. The only reason I can tweet right now is because I’m currently on my lunch break (crushing a Diet Dr. Pepper).
Level up your photography game, your fat finger got in the way. twitter.com/uwcherryblosso…
Haven’t addressed this yet because I’d rather not give the ch*rry bl*ss*ms free exposure.
But before you die, hope you enjoy the throngs of bozos just using you as a cheap prop for their Instagram posts. twitter.com/uwcherryblosso…
Sometimes, a long distance relationship can bring us closer when we are reunited again (in 2022!). Distance makes the heart grow fonder, and all that. 😅
I regret to announce — this is the end of the season. I am going now. I bid you all a very fond farewell. Goodbye. 🌸🌸🌸#lotr 2/2

If you're boring, just say so. And don't come after our 🦆and crows, at least they're something to look at. You're only out when it's sunny 🌞 anyway, like a whole 2 days of the year.
Don’t rope me into this drama. You’re both only “on” for two weeks, then it’s back to ducks/crows crapping in you the rest of the year. Don’t let the clouds fool you, I’M ALWAYS ON. twitter.com/uwcherryblosso…
Apparently THIS was the time to go to the Quad to check out the cherry blossoms...the crack of dawn! (Almost) nary a soul in sight. What a difference from the huge crowds there over the weekend. @UW@uwcherryblossom
