    6 million people across the UK are thought to have fallen into debt as a result of this pandemic, with evictions and bailiff collections due to resume next week. We must do to ensure nobody is left behind.

    Solidarity with Dawn Butler. The reluctance of the police to admit there is systematic racism, and to work hard to change, must stop. There must be honesty, dialogue with those of us in opposition, real listening to what communities are saying, and real action starting now.

    Fact Check: it’s completely legal to sail a small boat here & to seek asylum in the U.K. Shame on the heartless Tories for perpetuating this type of dangerous politics which can lead to death We have a long history of welcoming people to our island’s shores

    THREAD: The number of illegal small boat crossings is appalling and unacceptably high. The figures are shameful. France and other EU states are safe countries. Genuine refugees should claim asylum there, not risk their lives and break the law by coming to the UK.

    Green Party folks - please stop saying we're "radical". Addressing the climate crisis isn't radical. Getting people out of poverty isn't radical. Having effective systems of local & national government isn't radical.
