explaining this one last time and then not arguing it any more.

1. the video doesn’t mean men can’t be oppressed. black men, gay men, jewish men, etc can all experience oppression however in them cases it would be for other factors not on the premise of their gender. a man has never been oppressed simply for being a man.

2. a lot of people are saying that saying things like “men are trash” is a harmful stereotype against men. first of all, this definitely does not include all men, and the majority of men who know they aren’t the problem will never be offended by this as they know it doesn’t-

include them. also, if you are offended by it, prove us wrong. listen to us, stick up for us?? continuing to be ignorant will only prove our point further

3. pulling up male suicide statistics to try and prove me wrong only does the opposite. male suicide rates are high because men (over history) created and reinforce toxic masculinity that restricts men to talking about their feelings; a horrible product of a patriarchal system-

- which sees women as weak and inferior, however does not mean men are oppressed.

4. this in no way means that men have it easy. men still have hardship the same way EVERYONE does. however, it just means that they aren’t a victim of prolonged, systematic oppression. men, as a collective, have never had to struggle and fight for their own rights as throughout -

- history they’ve been deemed as the dominant and superior gender.

5. lot of people are clinging to the idea that men and women are already equal. i could argue this all day but to save time i’m not going to, statistics speak for them self and a bit of research will show you that misogyny and sexism is ENGRAINED in society; violence and abuse -

- against women, rape culture, sexual assault. wage gaps, double standards etc... equality hasn’t been achieved yet even in western civilisation.

6. back to the whole point of the video, derogatory jokes against women from men will always be more harmful than when it’s the other way round; the exact same way gay people making jokes about straight people and black people making jokes about white people will never be as -

- harmful as when they’re the other way round. - a woman saying “all men should die” is completely different to a man saying “all women should die” because men being killed by women rarely happens compared to the other way round. In the UK alone, two women a week are killed by -

- a current or former partner, in a western country, which is why a man saying “all women should die” isn’t funny, because men DO kill women on a regular basis.

7. the girl in the video didn’t know this was gonna b took to another platform. many things she originally said haven’t been included and it’s been selected in a way to make her seem unreasonable and radical.if she knew it would have been took further she would have expanded more

8. If you wanna disagree with me, do it. but a lot of the replies have been abusive, which doesn’t phase me at all,only proves the point further. if you’re male and feel the need to lash out and give abuse to people speaking out against injustice, you’re part of the problem
