Two cultural phenomena that deserve more attention: 1) the death of high culture 2) the death of adulthood in Western, especially Anglosphere culture.
Mathieu Oliver's "Consumer Neoteny" is an interesting academic perspective re: 2) I'm a little disappointed with tne methodology, was hoping for more insight over how these behaviors have changed over time.
