The problem is not executing the right play what if she didn’t score and they lost a game because of that as a coach I wanna see winning plays not selfish plays for me I always want my girls to make the smart play no matter the score or opponent cause it could be the difference

Lol why are you thinking about hypotheticals? Carli shot and scored. Period. Who knows what she would have done had circumstances been different? The best "execution" doesn't always work. It's good for a player to be a bit selfish sometimes.

Most players are selfish at times but at the end of the day, Lloyd scored a great goal so it was the right decision not to pass. Had she missed then I could understand people complaining but she didn't and that's what matters not the what ifs.
