Looking in the same direction as the Pete Dupré, is he disrespectful as well?
To be clear, no one turned their back on WWII Veteran Pete DuPré during tonight's anthem. Some USWNT players were simply looking at the flag on a pole in one end of the stadium. The players all love Pete, thanked him individually after the game and signed a ball for him.

Anyone who watched the anthem could tell they were simply looking at different flags… no disrespect whatsoever!

If there was a flag present on the side of the field and they were standing looking at that, then I will take back every bad thought I had about those players.
