As we approach the anniversary of the Nakba, the colonization of Palestine and forced expulsion of Palestinians continues. This is apparent everywhere in occupied territories but is most clear in the heart of Jerusalem, Palestine’s capital: in a town called Sheikh Jarrah.
A town where Palestinian families are currently being forcibly expelled from the city and removed from their homes by the Israeli regime and its colonial settlers. As we mark 73 years of Nakba, we also celebrate 73 years of resistance and struggle for liberation.
