Neuberger grew up in the ultra-Orthodox neighborhood of Borough Park in Brooklyn, NY. In 1976, her parents were among the passengers on the Air France flight hijacked to Entebbe. 2/6
The Israeli rescue operation taught her that “there are threats where sometimes only a government, only a military, can bring peace.” 3/6
Following the September 11 attacks, Neuberger decided she wanted to serve her country. 
She went on to serve in a variety of important roles at @DeptofDefense and @NSAGov. 4/6
In 2019, she was named the first NSA Director of Cybersecurity and in January 2021, @POTUS Biden appointed her as Deputy National Security Advisor for Cyber & Emerging Technology. 5/6
Neuberger also co-founded a charity called Sister to Sister, which helps divorced Jewish women. She is an observant Jew who leaves the office early on Fridays to be home in time for Shabbat. 6/6
