They definitely should apologize. Disagree with the man's politics, if so inclined, but callously disregarding his role as a U.S. senator and gleefully anticipating his demise for political expedience is wrong on so many levels.

Why apologize? It shouldn’t have been said but many politicians or their aides have said gruesome things about the President and his family which doesn’t always get reported. It’d be taking the high road though, for the WH aide to apologize.

John McCain, aka Mr. 894, cruised through life on his father's and grand father's coattails. He wasn't qualified 2 be a Naval Aviator, he was a screw up & doesn't deserve the fake praise given him. The phony hero stuff is enough 2 make you throw up. Get over it he's old & dying!
