i need a poweline adapter like asap but my room is on the other side of the house from my router so I have no idea if it’ll even reach house was built in 2014 iirc do I have to look for anything specific

OMG what a coincidence haha i recently bought one!!! anyways there’s nothing specific you have to look out for. they’re all mostly the same besides internet speed ofc so it rly depends on how much money u have to spend and what extras u want
there are powerline adapters with an electric socket on it so you don’t lose too much space since those things are huge. some also include a wifi hotspot which is handy if you have a weak wifi signal in your room. and i’m sure it should work, even if your room is that far away

then you just gotta look if the description of the powerline adapter includes it :D afaik they don’t make the product much more expensive since i could buy one with or without and there was only 10 - 15 euros difference between them
