why are ipads so expensive :( i was looking for an alternative to be able to draw digitally because my drawing tablet is like 4 years old and my laptop is garbage... but for that amount of money i’d rather just keep suffering instead

Don't go for the pro since, for drawing only, it doesn't do much. The normal Ipad and air work just as fine, and if you really want a pro, look at refurbished ones, since you can save over half of the cost sometimes!!
oh really? you think it wouldn’t make a difference between which ipad i get? i’ve seen people recommend the ipad pro 10.5 and 12.9 but i haven’t looked into anything else besides that haha

Regular ipad as the processing power of the regular one won't be fucked by just drawing. The ipad pro is built for a lot of heavy work and even animating in procreate isn't close to that limit
