i really don’t get how people are able to talk during friendlies without autopiloting omg... is it just a me thing??? i can’t focus on playing and paying attention to what someone is saying at the same time

I think it's just that people all play friendlies differently, most people just kind of talk and have some conversation over some smash, and some actually want to get serious practice and get some tips after

You can always just ask up front what they like/start messing around in the middle of the session, that's when people tend to lose interest anyway.
