i like anime style characters and i like swords, so i'm 100% fine with byleth ...but because i played FE3H, i'm lowkey mad that they picked the bland, emotionless avatar character over one of the three lords
the majority of the people who are complaining about byleth haven’t played fe3h and it shows

I MEAN I GET THAT... personally i would MUCH rather have dimitri over byleth but unfortunately it is what it is :( lowkey mad too bc they chose to include him yet they did him dirty by making him look like one of those bootleg anime figures

I just got disappointed cuz nintendo was really making it like it was all gonna be unique ip's plus that speech Reggie had at the game awards after jokers reveal and Sakurai with the connecting gaming stuff

yeah byleth really wasn’t the best character to finish the first dlc pack with imo so i can understand where you’re coming from

It's such a bummer of a last reveal. I like all the different games that get repped in Smash, so just having more FE chars is such a sizzler. I would've rather had an axe/bow user because at least that's not repped in Smash. Would be more exciting imo than just another swordie

I love FE and 3 houses was great but I still hate that Byleth is in, there will be 6 more but there will be a 7th char that didn't make it that is 30x more iconic than Byleth

why though? i feel like it was pretty obvious that byleth was going to be added at some point.. it just happened earlier than expected (the timing is off considering the rest of the dlc characters from the first pack are 3rd party)

yeah but i think it’s because people don’t really care, they care about the smash game, and getting reps in from games that aren’t repped enough/at all
