Considering it's smash players they might not understand the subculture of it, so mayb? but gaining attention is not necessarily a bad thing though, they might just be interested in your fashion sense.

i didnt ask that on cc btw also i didnt vote cuz i dont even go to tourneys but yea you shouldn't worry abt it. A girl at my school dresses like that as well and the first time I saw it, it made me interested on the subculture despite not knowing what it was at the time.
