why not???? anime and video games in general overlap each other quite a lot, whether it’s in terms of an actual anime styled video game (visual novels) or in terms of interest (if someone likes playing video games there’s a big chance they also watch anime)

Yeah its almost all japanese and a lot of videogames share the way characters or plots are portrayed, developed and all of those things so for most video game fans and especially smash fans since 6/10 of the roster is anime, its really easy to get into
