i feel like i hold myself back whenever i play against someone competitively??? for example: i have a strong 2 stock lead during a set n i can see that my opponent is struggling to find a way to approach.... FOR SOME REASON i suddenly feel bad for them —

causing me to lose focus n possibly even lose the game. i don’t really know how to explain it (as you might be able to tell) but i struggle with this a lot :(

so the question is: is there anything i can do to stop having sympathy for my opponent???? to stop holding myself back?
