I mean the Tax tournaments can be referred to as locals and i'm pretty sure you had a great time there. Honestly locals are better when it comes to learning/socializing and the majors are better if you're just there for competing IMO

Pretty much this, it's more of a social hangout where the focus is on chilling and grinding with a select group. They also carry a more laid back vibe due to this.
