I'm sad the @BostonMagazine tries to give the false impression that it costs $$$ to be our comrade in @Boston_DSA. That's just not true!
Telling that they try to pull a gotcha re: our $12 tote bags but don't, say, note the hypocrisy of the ""philanthropists"" pictured at charity benefits in their Party Pics section, who make $$$$ in exploitative industries and then pay $$ to be seen to be doing good.
In @Boston_DSA, our leaders are unpaid volunteers freely elected by our members, not hand-picked by a board of real estate developers and investment bankers displacing the people they're claiming to help. But *we're* the hypocrites for selling t-shirts.
Anyway, we'll be selling those t-shirts again at our pay-what-you-can fundraiser on Saturday, to help expand our campaigns for #MedicareForAll, to #TakeBackTheGrid, and to build tenant unions with @CityLife_Clvu. Join us!
