    Perhaps better to explicitly focus on getting more engineers contributing to layers built on top of the core infrastructure, like Lightning, payments, consensus-leveraging apps, libraries, privacy tools, wallets, etc. Those projects are independent, and failure is less harmful.

    This should be a metric that we track for each crypto asset.

    I've heard rumors that getting the blockchain to sync is challenging, so I decided to run an experiment to see for myself. After running all night, it appears I have only been able to download 11.5Gb of the 1Tb+ blockchain. My node last received a block 11 hours ago...
