We are actively working on all of these things, and they will get better in the coming months.
For people trying out the system for the first time it can be frustrating and disorienting at times
We weren’t ready for the level of interest that OS 1 has created. The underlying system (Urbit OS) is still young and can’t support everyone just yet
We have always worked out in the open, letting anyone experiment with what we’re building in whatever state it’s in
If you’re really curious about what we’re up to: please, try it out. Boot a comet to experiment or buy a planet (it’ll always be yours, even if you set it aside while we improve the system)
Our goal is to build a simple system that’s both nice to use and can last forever. We’re getting there
