As much as I am a supporter of urbit, it's not clear that urbit is any of these things. In fact, it isn't immediately clear what urbit even is, and it took me probably an hour of research to figure it out. I know its at an early stage, but even the plethora of neologisms ishttps://twitter.com/urbit/status/1234361283534737409 …

hard to understand for the uninitiated. How does
@urbit plan to make the urbit setup as simple as possible (think of google chrome's one click install)? The average person does not care at all about a p2p internet bc what currently exists is *good enough*.1 reply 0 retweets 1 likeShow this thread -
Urbit is currently a fun cult project for tinkerers, but it is not going to gain wide adoption unless the user experience is SIGNIFICANTLY better, and considering how optimised the user experience of current social networks and web services are, I don't see urbit competing.

Currently, the user experience is pretty terrible, to be quite frank. Having to learn the terminology of urbit is not intuitive and this is just one factor that makes urbit inherently confusing. Urbit needs to become easier to use than google chrome.

Does urbit plan to release a urbit OS with an intuitive UI in the near future?

I guess I'm kind of just revealing my ignorance of the Roadmap. Anyway, despite my rant I really look forward to the future of urbit.
