People don't understand how much the Ethereum pre-mine will forever effect the governance of any chain forked from that genesis block.
People don't understand that early Bitcoin culture is not transitive and can't be duplicated.
This why there are no @ln_zap like teams on ETH.

Bitcoin has a truly bizarre product market fit and the only way for Ethereum to survive is transitioning to a more grounded narrative. Bitcoin has removed op codes, Ethereum needs to make the equivalent sacrifice at the technical and social levels, the pre-mine frustrates this.

I'm writing this in Paris and I think this will be the topic of my ETHCC talk. VCs didn't fund Bellcore, VCs didn't fund PARC. Apple + PARC = General Magic Ethereum can be Apple or PARC or ARPANET, not all 3. The price of ETH is saved when The EF turns into ARPANET

The Ethereum Industry is a dead end if it doesn't promote the accrual of value on the layers above. The positioning of ETH in relation to BTC was required to creation. Ethereum's worldly desire is why it can be saved and Urbit cannot. If MKR beats XTZ that's no win for ETH.
