@urbit Sorry, I'm not a technical individual..what about anonymity? If an address owned by someone and fixed to that individual – does that preclude being anonymous?
Internet is not a friendly place if you can not control your anonymity to powerful parties.

By default, Urbit is pseudonymous. Your Urbit name is a weird made up name like ~poldec-tonteg. We don't require a real name or any connection to your real identity.

No one has to know what your Urbit name is and it's theoretically possible to route Urbit over i2p (the tor protocol)
