Hehe. So fuzzy. What does that mean for me practically? How do I use it? Why should I use it? I'm all for profound innovation, but I'd love to be able to competently come along for the ride

Think of Urbit as an OS that lives in the cloud and lasts forever. It’s nowhere near ‘done’, so it’s a bit difficult to use. If you’re patient and don’t mind using the command line, you can use it to talk to other people and keep notes today.

Eventually, we hope that people will use Urbit because it’s simple, secure, never shows you ads, lasts forever and helps you connect with people you care about.

Thank you for your patience with me! The command line terrifies me, though im fully on board with what you've said and will try to keep updated on your progress

Why’d you pick MIT over GPL ? No PDP-11 printer driver issues predicted in the year of our [redacted] 2119 ? Stallman may have been a bit weird about stopping to smell the roses but the scraggly hippie was not wrong.
