If Urbit’s telos is programming-as-empowering-infrastructure, why is its network arbitrarily limited to 4 billion planets? Seems like an infrastructure a neofeudalist would cook up to make money, and then trick pro-liberty investors into funding.

They argue it's to prevent spammers, but I feel like a more useful mechanism could have been built (or at least explored) to solve that problem. But hey, gotta make that $$$ somehow
