Hello there! I'm just learning about Urbit and doing some research. From what I understand, there will only be 4 bil planets ever. So if I wanted to invest in Urbit, for ideological and potentially financial reasons, would purchasing a few planets be the right way to do it?
If you'd like to *use* urbit — certainly, you should buy a planet. If you'd like to invest, well, we wouldn't really know anything about that.
Great, I'm buying a planet tomorrow :) are there any real-world uses for a planet yet, any resources I can study? Thank you for the reply!
Today, a planet lets you log in to Arvo — our experimental OS. You can find lots of information on http://urbit.org , specifically http://urbit.org/docs .
