The name change was suggested by someone who, at the time, was just a contributor — since the names didn't suit the underlying system.

The address space design is the same, and is designed to prevent the kind of centralization we see today. A lot can happen in nine years!

The address space is meant to be invisible to the ordinary Urbit user. The network should appear like a peer to peer network.
