Let's keep it real: Sen. Jamie Pedersen (D-Seattle) says has turned Olympia against repealing the state #RentControlBan, but he didn't really support #RentControl in the first place and endorsed Egan Orion... Smells like campaign spin.

You don't ban tools from the toolbox. RC has its uses & is useful when demand outstrips supply. IMO housing should be treated like a regulated monopoly, cap ROI for private, invest in public rental to ownership programs.
