because for him the 'bitch' was very much described as Stacey, and the 'babe' was Becky, at least as far as appearance is concerned, but the 'babe' was submissive and would go out of her way to please her man and he would reward that.

The 'bitch' on the other hand was a strong willed woman who was focused on herself and selfishly pursuing career goals and didn't treat her man with respect because she thought she didn't need it. It was awful.
