good step forward but honestly Unreal and many others already open sourced it's time to move into your future so Unity can be more competitive.

Do you happen to have a link for that? I just googled and only found links to websites stating that the Unreal Engine is not open source. At the unrealengine FAQ page they also write that the EULA applies and never corroborate your open source claim, but I may have overlooked it.

Thank you so much. There is some great code to learn from that I've seen in the beta packages. Hopefully some day you'll be able to take PRs. But I totally get not having resources to do that atm.
