February 18th is our 9th annual "A Chocolate Affair" fundraising event! This dinner directly benefits the UWKC Education department and helps us provide educational programs and resources to low-income families in Kern County. Tickets are available now on eventbrite!

We are excited to announce that the game brought in 6,077 bears! With an additional 2,542 bears from our drive and 5k, we are at an amazing total of 8,529 bears for the 2022 season! Thank you all for another successful drive; we can't wait to see everyone again next year!🧸

Help is here for homeowners behind on mortgage payments and property taxes. The California Mortgage Relief Program is now covering past-due property taxes for all homeowners, has new income limits and extended the past-due requirement to homeowners who missed payments so far.

On December 4th, United Way of Kern County will hold our Holiday Hot Meal Distribution! Stop on by for some free food and resources! Join us at noon in the United Way Parking Lot located on the corner of 18th and H Street!
